Well, no, it wouldn't be the first thing you'd think of! But for SpeakEasy, the club is the heart of the school, providing a valuable social outlet for its members.
Once a week, SpeakEasy hosts it's weekly coffee morning, The Rolling Scones, where all and sundry are welcome to pop in, have a chat and enjoy a cuppa and a scone.
If you're running low on PG Tips and marmite, or if you're just feeling homesick, the SpeakEasy Epicerie always has a stock of kitchen cupboard essentials.
Then there's the club activities - cookery classes, art and photographic exhibitions, music, theatre events, movie screenings and more!
For €35 per year, members get access to the club's huge library of books and DVDs plus all of the above.
